Yixiu (一休冥想) is a Chinese and English nature-sound, music and breathing product for everyday rest, reading and focused work. Try it in a browser without an account, or use the iPhone and iPad app. There are no ads or required streaks. Choose a sound, set a timer and stop whenever you like.

One product, two ways to listen

The official website is yixiu.wonderelian.com. The App Store ID is 1461182261; its English name is “Yixiu: Sleep Sounds & Calm” and its Chinese name is “一休冥想”. These names refer to the same product. Yixiu is part of the WonderElian creative work; support and feedback are available through wonderelian.com.

What is free, and what does Plus add?

The current collection has 64 sounds: 14 nature recordings, 20 classical works, 20 AI-assisted originals and 10 other meditation or ambient tracks. The main player marks 21 sounds Free and 43 Plus. The free selection includes five nature sounds, seven classical works, six AI-assisted originals, Oasis Rest, First Breath and Still Water. Use the Free filter to see the current selection.

Plus unlocks the full main-player collection and longer listening and breathing options in the app. Free download does not mean every sound is free. Verified owners of version 1.2 or earlier retain their original nature-sound access; check Restore Purchases in the app. Full listening on an open-license credits page is separate from access in the main player.

Where do the sounds come from?

Nature scenes use licensed field recordings. Music includes credited recordings with their individual licenses and Yixiu AI-assisted originals. Check the audio sources and music credits for the recording, performer, license and any download terms. AI-assisted music is identified as such; it is not described as a nature field recording.

Privacy and product limits

No registration is required. Optional usage statistics are off by default and can be changed in settings. Practice journals are not uploaded. Read the privacy policy for details. Yixiu is for everyday listening and short breaks; it does not diagnose or treat a medical condition, and it does not promise sleep or concentration results.

Start with the moment you have

For a brief pause, open one-minute breathing. For a reading session, try free ocean sounds at a comfortable volume. For bedtime, compare rain, waves or another recording and choose a timer. There is no universal best sound: use what feels comfortable today.

What is Yixiu?

Yixiu (一休冥想) is a bilingual nature-sound, music and breathing product with a web player and an iPhone / iPad app. It needs no Yixiu account and has no ads.

Is Yixiu free?

The main player offers 21 free sounds out of 64, 5-, 15- and 30-minute timers and one-minute breathing. The other 43 sounds and longer options require Plus in the app. Prices and offers are shown by Apple before purchase.

Can I try Yixiu without downloading an app?

Yes. Open yixiu.wonderelian.com, use the Free filter, choose a sound and press play. No registration is required.

Can Yixiu keep playing when my iPhone locks?

The native app supports this when background playback is enabled. A black screen inside the web page is a different feature and does not guarantee playback after physically locking the phone.

Does a web favorite or music download unlock Plus?

No. Browser favorites store a local preference. A source-page download follows that recording’s license. Plus membership is purchased and restored through Apple in the app.

Where is the official app?

Use App Store ID 1461182261. The current app supports iPhone and iPad with iOS / iPadOS 17 or later. Availability and purchase options depend on your Apple storefront.

Does Yixiu guarantee better sleep or focus?

No. Sounds and breathing are optional tools for a quiet moment. Preferences and experiences vary; Yixiu makes no medical or guaranteed-outcome claim.
